Magnetic Particle (MT)

MT excels in detecting surface and near surface defects, as well it can effectively screen large areas and irregular shapes with ease. MT can be deployed both in shop and field locations with portable battery packs.  

Liquid Penetrant (PT)

PT can be used on a wide range of materials, including all metals, alloys, and plastics. Penetrant testing is used to identify surface breaking defects. 

Ultrasonic Thickness (UTT)

UTT thickness can be used for a variety of reasons. XSI provides comprehensive training to ensure our technician's provide you with data you can count on. Check out our advanced page for more on our automated systems. 

Ultrasonic Shearwave (UTSW)

UTSW is a great option for identifying and sizing both near and subsurface defects. UTSW does not require the use of exclusion zones. 

Visual 

XSI offers CWB, API and National Board certified visual inspectors. 

Radiography (RT)

Utilizing both digital and conventional methods, our RT program provides a permanent record of inspection. RT can be used for code work, or for exploratory programs such as corrosion monitoring.
